R-DATS is presently operational in several African countries including; Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Benin, Togo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Liberia, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, Cameroun, Niger, Senegal, Mali, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), among others. At R-DATS, we use advanced and innovative research, evaluation and statistical methods to gather high-quality data and generate strong evidence for impact and improved policy decisions. Our work has resulted in increased use of data for program design, program redesign and policy actions. The research, evaluation and data processing activities at R-DATS Consulting are guided by core ethical principles and data privacy standards of our organization, the organization we work for and the country where we are to carry out the assignments. An example of the ethical principle guiding our data collection and management are Belmont Principles of Justice, Beneficence and Respect for the person. Where applicable, we usually recommend that the survey questions and study protocols are reviewed by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of record or others before the data collection commences.
