Profile

Ramatu’s background in communication and humanitarian development sector gives her an in-depth understanding of the theoretical frame work in behavioural change communication. Having worked with various organisations over the years, she established a momentum in project management, monitoring and evaluation in risk and emergency sector, social development sector and humanitarian services. In addition, Ramatu is skilled at building and maintaining relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds. She has an excellent ability to create databases for field data collection and is able to evaluate information to create a decision-making tool for management and program success.

Ramatu has substantial experience conducting Peer group training, Key informant interviews (KIIs), Focus group discussions (FGDs). Prior to joining R-DATS, Ramatu supported Yiaga Africa with the training of its field teams for effective data collection. She also worked with WHP activities across Northeast region and possesses skills in data security. She has vast Knowledge of practical usage of data collection tools such as Kobo-collect, Survey CTO, Area Mapping for GIS, Excel, among others. 

Ramatu is extremely passionate about what she does because service to humanity is where her joy seems the fullest. Her primary objective is to add value by prudently utilizing skills and other resources to achieve a set of projected goals within the stated time frame.
