Profile
Husseni Bala Habu Ph.D. is a highly focused professional with extensive experience in data administration, research, monitoring and evaluation, and strategic planning. His track record in the education sector, which is driven by a results-oriented approach, clearly indicates his dedication to system improvement.
He has worked as a System Analyst in charge of the EMIS section of the Planning, Research, and Statistics department, which is responsible for the department’s data management system, and as a teacher, where he inspired his students to reach for the stars. He previously worked for an international NGO (UNICEF) as an M&E officer, where he was responsible for developing and implementing novel strategies to get out-of-school children (OOSC) back into the classroom, with a focus on SMBC, cash Transfer, enrollment campaigns, learner tracking, grant monitoring, and other similar initiatives. He also served as an EMIS consultant for the UBEC/BESDA World Bank Project, helping to convert data from the Northeast Nigeria ASC to NPA standards and bolster the state’s ability to process and use that data. For the most part, he makes use of cutting-edge technology in his work, and most recently he provided technical support for the Kebbi State AGILE/World Bank Project on Digital Gap Assessment and Cash transfer Students Household Validation and Enrollment.
Husseni endeavours to keep abreast of new developments in related disciplines in order to tailor his services to meet the specific requirements of each client. He has extensive knowledge in the developing area of multimethodology and multi-optimization within Operations Research, the topic in which he earned his doctorate. His data-driven mindset pushed him to learn database management systems, data analysis, data visualization, and reporting, which he puts to practice.
